VarInsight is a free, static website that queries public genetic-variant registries from your browser and formats what they return. It is offered as is.

No warranty

There is no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Registry content changes, services go down, and a rendering can lag or misread the record behind it. The linked source record is authoritative; this page is not.

Research use only

This tool is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic procedures. Seeresearch use for what that means in practice. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on against the source record, and for any decision you make.

The upstream data

The data shown belongs to the registries that publish it and remains subject to their terms and licences, which are linked from the sources page. Using VarInsight does not give you rights to that data beyond what those terms grant, and heavy or automated use should go to those services directly rather than through this page.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or from reliance on anything it displays.

Changes

These terms may change. The site carries no accounts and no mailing list, so there is no mechanism to notify you; the current version is always the one on this page.
